MULTICULTURALISM

Multiculturalism is now a worldwide phenomenon. Usually, however, be considered a phenomenon typical of developed countries, because these countries have specific characteristics that are favorable for its outbreak. the specific "historic, demographic and institutional." While ideal society, this phenomenon has emerged in some European countries, that have long been trying to deal with ethnic differences, racial and cultural, from a set of public measures. Those countries received a strong immigration, especially from the second postwar, forming the so-called multicultural societies in which there is a relationship between discourses, laws and multicultural practices.
